The Commie Chronicles – Episode 7
In any communist country, one of the first things that always happens is ‘reeducation.’ The new ruling party must re-educate the masses. People must get behind the new order or else. In the old days, ‘or else’ was a choice between living or dying. In our more civilized world of 2021, the dying part now finds yourself ‘cancelled’ from participating in society. In mission-critical cases like Phil Haney or Seth Rich they physically cancel people.
With much of the coup driven by the Marxist social divide, we see signs of ‘reeducation’ everywhere. In tiny Northfield, Minnesota, we find the small and private Carlton College. A school that is not for the poor, the tuition is $59,000 a year, the faculty jumped abroad on the coup train. A black student is asking for change. The Board quickly responded by requiring all college employees to attend segregated anti-racism ‘struggle’ sessions despite the fact that there was no history of a single racial incident. in college.
The University of Florida requires students to take diversity and inclusion training. Students are taught that ‘equity’ is fair while ‘equality’ is unfair. Many other lessons suggest that white people are the problem. The program has multiple choice questions, infographics, and videos. The questions and videos pointed to specific examples of insensitive language and interactions between white students and minorities. One of the many mind-boggling questions asked, “Should a white person host a ‘Salsa and Sombreros’ theme party? The answer is yes.
At Illinois’ Roosevelt University, Professors boasted in a recent Zoom call about how they indoctrinate students in the Department of Education in the ways of social justice. One said, “I mean, it’s all social justice; all day, every day, I get to talk about things that I love. I actually live life here.” The Prof also teaches elementary school and is a liaison officer for the National Education Association. Communist indoctrination has a life of its own.
The State of California has announced a new Ethnic Studies Curriculum that will be required in all high schools in the state. The new class manual is 900 pages. It teaches America’s historical oppression of blacks, Hispanics, and Asian Americans. It teaches that people are divided into oppressors or oppressed, based only on the color of their skin and white people have all the power while non-white people have no power; States to ‘educate’ our children.
Columbia University, one of America’s oldest and most prestigious centers of higher education, is holding graduation back in style. Although the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibited racial discrimination, apparently, it did not apply to the commie school extraordinaire. They started with the graduation with ceremonies for Native Americans only, followed by the Lavender graduation for the LBGTQ alphabet soup crowd. This is followed by Latinx graduation for Hispanic students and finally Black graduation—no mention of when whites and Asians will graduate. You see, there is more than one way to re-educate our youth. Drive the wedge deep with the return of segregation and not a word of protest.
In another reeducation angle, Disney, the original American icon for children, has announced changes to some of its golden oldies. The popular children’s film Dumbo is no more. You see, the music has different tones from the days of Jim Crow. Next on the chopping block, my favorite Peter Pan. Peter seems disrespectful to Native Americans, and the movie portrays cultural appropriation. Finally, Disney scrapped The Aristocats. A surprise? Almost in 2021. Disney says, “The Siamese cat Shun Gon is depicted as a racist caricature of East Asian people with exaggerated stereotypical characteristics such as slanted eyes and teeth on the buck.” They also watched Swiss Family Robinson and Lady and the Tramp. Don’t you wish it was just a bad dream?
Unfortunately, re-educating our youth began in earnest 50 years ago. It’s subtle but effective. Now their post-coup efforts are out in the open for all to see. And the long march continued as most Americans walked in unison, staring at their phones.
Until next time… watch your back and beware of ‘cancel’ birds. You could be next.
