Cricket IPL – K-10 T-20 Tip Part 8
On 26 April 2008, the Indian Premier League (IPL) Cricket 11th match was played in Chennai and the huge audience response in such a scorching heat was very encouraging not only for Indians but a very good sign for to cricket fans around the world. Indians should complement the foresight and wisdom of Mr Lalit Modi who is the driving force behind the whole theory of Kapil Daa. Kapil’s innovative idea to breathe new life into cricket and give maximum exposure to the majority of youngsters in the national cricket format paved the way for the BCCI to replicate his format and launch the IPL with Money Barron and Barosses (MBB).
The cheers and cheers that this format offers to the audience are greater than any cricket game witnessed till date. Not seeing the demanding crowd and vindictive attitude of Indians, Pakistanis, Aussies or Englishmen but everyone applauds the performance of a player irrespective of his nationality.
I am proud to say that Secular India has made Secular Cricket in its land where the end means business and not nationality. Anyhow I offer some tips to the new and changing young players who have to make a place in the game to survive against the old elders whose Skill and Stamina of Elders (SASE) not afraid. Most of the time that proves old is gold.
Kalpna’s 10 Cricket Tips (KT-10T) for youngsters to succeed in the twenty-20 format are
“One, No full tossed ball in the first three and last two;
“Two; Pitch control;
“Three; one bouncer per head is required;
“Four; Not without the ball;
“Five; No test but bowler to ensure no charge gives a leg side width;
“Six; There is no speed without control so keep the pace with precision;
“Seven; Learn Trimming Ball Release (TBR). TBR is a new bowling technique. In this technique a bowler is taught to release every alternate ball with about half or two third speed of the previous ball. With an inward swing. The seam of the ball is released at the angulated point of almost 30 degree angle of the shoulder blade and arm. I observed that the ball after hitting the ground moves almost twice as speed of release and makes the game not difficult but just impossible.Every TBR ball The release gives a bold or Leg Before Wicket to the bowler;
“Eight; Smart bowling with zeal. I have seen in all 11 matches of IPL that most of the fast bowlers lost the direction of the pace. I in the matches that in IPL type format there is no corrective time like every bowler. to do only four.
“Nine; Good height is the need of the game and the player has
“Ten; AMW. My most important tip for young bowlers is Aim Mid Wicket (AMW). Any bowler, who follows this tip, he will be most successful in Twenty-20 (T-20 ).This technique was taught by Mr Som Prakash Sharma to some young people in remote rural areas in the seventies.
The T-20 format has raised the expectations of Cricket Fans (CF) across the world. the
new format provides a new type of entertainment, which is now days of prime importance. I have surveyed and found that more than 99 % youngsters get rid of stress while still thinking about the T-20 cricket climax in the last three overs. It also makes people believe that the T-20 has an edge in slowly dragging test matches over five days. Once again I thank Kapil Daa and hope that BCCI vindictive behavior will stop after the success of IPL based on Indian Cricket Leave (ICL) theory. If Kapil Daa would not have revolted and founded ICL, the BCCI old die hard spirit of dragging feet would not have been done. World over CF will share my view and hope that IPL and ICL will elevate Cricket as a sport and not as Arc Rival Cricket Leagues (ARCL). If BCCI does not change its approach, it will harm the game of Toto.
Do my readers also share their views? I hope most of them do; but sometimes
Fanatics take it too far to bring a bad name to the game. The cheer leaders, their dress, nationality and style become an eye of the Traditional Indian Way of Life (TIWL). I believe there is nothing wrong but the dress code must be appropriate for TIWL. These Cheer Leader girls come from humble and respectable families. How can they suspect that their profession is vulgar and they can stop their livelihood. I do not agree to stop but hope that BCCI and ICC will amend the rules to enable these struggling women to earn and survive in the highly materialistic Sex Oriented World of Men (SOWM).
How SOWM reacts and analyzes women-dominated activities is an issue; and style of TIWL leaders to cash in on the political issue or take advantage of local CF support. I strongly condemn those principles and try to call it Sick Sex Mentality (SSM) outside the preview of the business world. I would ask the narrow political TIWL to respond to my following observations;
In one; The clothes worn by Cheer Girls are more vulgar than most Indian Silver Screen Item Girls (ISSIG). Sometimes I feel ashamed to sit and watch most of the Indian so called pop songs and dress codes in ISSIG.
Two; How Indian song directors repeatedly focus their camera on the legs, thighs, waist, stomach and swaying hips of female items; didn’t make a TIWL issue with the politicians?
Three; Yes I agree instead of showing Sick Indian Mentality of Foreign Flesh (SIMFF) to suppress and give Indian Cheer Girls (ICG) a chance to earn their living with dignity.
four; how about a ban on CF entertainment worldwide?
I’ll be debating my worst concerns with game bait and what it hides
players. According to media reports the first game invited rupees 700 Crores market bait and hopes to increase further. The hype of this format must have already captured the four most recognizable bulls nicknamed (WIBU)’:-
“First; White Coat Opportunists (WCO). These are people who show great loss in advertisements to make black money and become white.
“Second; Illegal money launderers;
“Third; Black marketer; and
“Fourth; Underworld gangsters.
BCCI and ICC’s role in preventing money laundering is Herculean
role and also the Indian Taxmen who have to account for every ticket sold at the counter or booking across the stadiums. T-20 has become the most exciting Money Minting Arena of Game (MMAG).
Have the Rahul boys lost their guns or guts should Mallya’s answer to the unstoppable Rock wall prowess of the Indian Cricket Team. How can a person ignore a successful captain.
