How I Got Rid of My Acne

My acne outbreaks started when I was 19 years old. In my early teens I always had a pimple or two but never a face full of red skin from acne. It started as oily skin on my face, then progressed to large pimples like pimples on my nose or my forehead. I have tried many things from putting egg and oatmeal on my face to Aloe Vera, and some shock treatments that “kill” the bacteria. Well, I read the whole program in two days. The book is over 300 pages long! I was excited to try things out and committed to following the program as best I could. To my surprise I started seeing results in a few days! My acne is not gone but my complexion looks healthier. As I continued with the program my skin condition continued to improve. The bad thing for me is that I am very healthy and have lost weight. The reason why I say it’s a bad thing is because I play football at my community college and I’m trying to gain weight, not lose it. The things I don’t like about the program is how you change the way you eat. Leo tells you all the bad things about our modern society’s ways of adding preservatives and why it’s bad for your health. I also don’t like spending a lot of money to buy all the vitamins, oils, and teas. Cleaning my bowels was also a pain; I didn’t eat any kind of fat for 10 days! I was hungry and people around me enjoyed the delicious food and offered it to me. I have to deny it and tell them that I’m fed up, just so I can’t break the streak I’m going through.
