And despite its distance from Manila, many came to witness the wedding of Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde.

Exactly a year after their high-profile engagement and a decade since the endearing “Arjo cutie” tweet that set hearts aflutter, Maine and Arjo exchanged vows earlier today, July 28, 2023, in a ceremony that can only be described as an enchanting fairy tale come to life.

A number of celebrities, influencers, and industry insiders graced the grand event, with each guest dressed in their finest couture.

First on the list were the parents of Arjo, Filipina actress Sylvia Sanchez and businessman Arturo Atayde.

Also in the photo was Maine’s parents—Teodoro Mendoza and Mary Ann Mendoza.

In another viral photo that made the rounds on social media, the 28-year-old bride was surrounded by her bridesmaids.

Among Maine’s celebrity bridesmaids were Sheena Halili (seated, L), Kristine Hermosa-Sotto (3rd from L), Ciara Sotto (3rd from R), MJ Lastimosa (seated, 2nd from R), and Maja Salvador (seated, R).
